Celebrating our newest Music exhibition, Encore! We present Passion Quartet, hailing from Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland. Passione Quartet is a group that was brought together by their sheer love of music and a like-minded aim to enjoy and share the immense power and beauty of classical music.
The group formed at the beginning of 2024 and has performed at numerous public and private events across Tāmaki Makaurau, establishing itself as a professional quartet with a strong dedication to its craft. Their passionate musicality and fine ensemble skills have also opened up opportunities for them to receive coaching from the New Zealand String Quartet in Nelson (2025 and 2026) as well as from the Australian String Quartet in Adelaide. Rich, colourful, and tightly unified, the group sound reflects both the expert guidance they’ve received and the countless hours spent together in rehearsals.
