Ōtari Glow Worm Tour

Take a guided night tour through Ōtari-Wilton’s Bush and discover some of the fascinating night-time residents on your way to see the titiwai/glowworms. Enjoy the tranquil beauty of the bush after dark and witness the magical glow of these unique creatures.

This outdoor night-time tour takes just over an hour.
The tour requires a moderate level of fitness; the route includes numerous steps and a steep incline to and from the glowworms.
No dogs, and not suitable for babies and young children.

Meet at the Ōtari Visitors Centre, 150 Wilton Road. Wrap up in warm clothes, wear sturdy walking shoes, and bring a torch or head lamp.

Glow Worm Tour Ticket Refund Policy:
• No Refunds: We do not offer refunds for Glow Worm Tour tickets.
• Ticket Transfers: If you can’t attend your booked tour, with 2 weeks notice we can put you on a future tour, subject to availability.
• Weather Conditions: Tours operate rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather or unsafe conditions, we will reschedule your tour or provide a refund.
